Insurance got more expensive. That doesn’t mean you’re stuck.
Insurance got more expensive. That doesn’t mean you’re stuck.
Florida insurance changes quickly — and your life, property, and needs can change too.
At S & J Insurance Group, our renewal process is designed to look beyond the renewal premium. We review the details that may affect your coverage, eligibility, available options, and overall insurance picture before simply assuming last year's policy is still the right fit.
That's where Chantal comes in.
Chantal has been part of the S & J family for approximately five years and plays a key role in overseeing our agency operations and Renewal Center.
As your policy approaches renewal, Chantal helps review the account, research changes that may matter, identify items that need attention, and determine when a deeper coverage or market review makes sense.
Her job isn't simply to find out whether your premium changed.
It's to help answer a more important question:
Depending on your policy and situation, our review may include:
Has anything changed with the property?
A new roof, permits, renovations, occupancy changes, inspections, property characteristics, or other updates may affect underwriting or available options.
We look beyond the total premium to consider important limits, deductibles, endorsements, exclusions, and other policy features that may deserve attention.
Your insurance needs don't always stay the same for 12 months.
A new vehicle, driver, boat, rental property, business, home improvement, or other life change may create something we should know about.
When appropriate, we may evaluate available carrier options based on the risk and current market.
That doesn't mean every policy should be remarketed every year.
Sometimes the best recommendation is to leave a good policy exactly where it is.
If you have insurance with another company or agency, your renewal is a good opportunity for us to understand the rest of your insurance picture.
We'll let you know if we see something worth discussing.
And sometimes our answer may simply be:
That's okay too.

Tell us what's changed and anything you'd like us to review.

Our team evaluates the information relevant to your renewal, coverage, underwriting, and available options.

If something warrants additional research or remarketing, we'll determine what options may be appropriate.

No insurance-speak for the sake of insurance-speak. We'll explain what matters and why.

We'll provide the information and options. You make the decision that's right for you.
Great.
A renewal review doesn't mean we're looking for a reason to change your insurance.
It means we're making sure we're paying attention.
Your renewal shouldn't be the first time anyone looks closely at your policy in a year.
